GOAL
This video was created to help market the premiere episode for the 5th season of Lebron James' talk show "The Shop". With a star studded episode 1 cast featuring Lebron James, Lamar Jackson, Donald Glover, J. Balvin, Quinta Brunson, Maverick Carter & Paul Riveria, Uninterrupted seeked out my creative assistance to increase viewership and get the internet buzzing about The Shop's newest season.
Process
I shot this behind-the-scenes video on location in Los Angeles during the live taping and in-between takes. I was able to grab clips over the course of two hours and had full creative direction to create a video I felt would entice viewers to tune into the premiere. It was such an amazing experience working alongside the cast/crew for this video and seeing the full process on how they create these episodes.
OUTCOME
The hype launch video was released a few hours before the premiere of the first episode and did amazing numbers for Uninterrupted's socials. All cast members re-published the video to their profiles as well, alerting the world that a new exciting season of "The Shop" was on the way. The episode received over 2 millions views and discussed topics such as Lebron's future in the NBA, how Lamar Jackson lock's in on game days, Donald Glover on his pettiness and much more.
