GOAL
The NBA G-League ignite team is a first-of-its-kind team dedicated to developing top young prospects in preparation for the NBA Draft. This year's team features a number of incredibly talented players including guard Scoot Henderson who is the projected number 2 overall pick in the 2023 NBA draft. This hype video was created for the pregame jumbotron and is played at all Ignite home games to fire up the team before player introductions.
Process
One of the main focuses that the Ignite team wanted to hone in on was the fact that they are located in Las Vegas. With an overall Vegas theme in mind, along with Directors Adam Mayo and David Kushner, I helped creatively direct the 3d scenes that are placed throughout the video. We included famous landmarks such as the Eiffel Tower, The Paris Balloon, The Bellagio Hotel, & much more.
I was transferred top highlight clips from the season along with clips from a video shoot they conducted in the stadium and mixed them together to create the most exciting video possible.
OUTCOME
The video is now played for the team and fans on The Dollar Loan Center jumbotron before each game they play at home. The video does an amazing job of showcasing the Ignite's impressive lineup of young prospects that are soon to be stars in the NBA as well as focusing on the surrounding city of Las Vegas.
